The First Colony Branch Library located at Austin Parkway in Sugar Land.

The zombies are rising at the First Colony Branch Library! Can an antidote be found in the mad scientist’s lab?! Is there a way to escape from the mad man’s lair in time?!

Teens and adults are challenged to prevent a full-blown zombie apocalypse by finding clues and solving puzzles at the First Colony Branch Library’s Escape Room on Saturday, September 22nd, between 10:30 am and 4 pm in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2121 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land.

Teens and adults – in groups or as individuals – will have 45 minutes to solve the mystery and escape before the zombies rise and take over the library!

Part scavenger hunt and part board game, sprinkled with some Indiana Jones-style adventure, escape rooms have risen in popularity among those who enjoy the challenge of exploring their physical environment and applying logic to solving puzzles within a limited amount of time.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. To reserve a 45-minute time slot, call the First Colony Branch Library at 281-238-2800 or visit the Adult Services department of the library.
