It is this specific approach to patient care that has grown the practice, said Dr. Humble, noting the 2017 opening of sister site Houston Dermatology, and recently procuring a new doctor, Dr. Gildo “Gil” Micheletti, for Houston Dermatology.

“My practice is growing tremendously, specifically in the dermatology department,” said Dr. Humble. “Dr. Micheletti is well-respected and brings a great deal to the table in terms of knowledge and experience. Dr. Micheletti, who is a board-certified dermatologist, has been providing expert care to patients with some of the most disabling skin conditions for more than 40 years. His expertise will be put to use alongside Dr. Cedeno, who has a doctorate degree in Immunology from Harvard Medical School and was trained as a dermatologist at the University of Pennsylvania, the oldest and one of the most prestigious dermatology departments in the nation.

With Dr. Cedeno and Dr. Micheletti’s combined expertise, the practice has doubled its ability to treat an array of skin conditions in both children and adults.  “We provide pediatric dermatology and can examine birth marks, neonatal acne, moles and warts,” Dr. Cedeno said. “We also offer medical dermatology, like inflammatory, infectious and auto- immune conditions, skin cancer assessments and cosmetic dermatology.”

The new year not only brings a new doctor to the Houston Dermatology, but new technology to both of Dr. Humble’s offices as well. Starting this month, Sugar Land Face & Body and Houston Dermatology will offer CoolTone, an FDA approved device that sculpts, tones and strengthens muscles on the abdomen, the thighs and the buttocks in a non-invasive way.

The technology is non-invasive and each treatment lasts around 30 minutes and requires no down time. It works by delivering electromagnetic stimulation that provokes involuntary muscle stimulation that is equivalent to 20,000 squats or 20,000 abdominal crunches per session without any associated pain or soreness. Both men and women can benefit from CoolTone and “a brief series of four sessions can give noticeable results,” said Dr. Cedeno. For adult men wanting to achieve a more athletic look, postpartum women who want to strengthen their core or even women would like to have a non-surgical butt lift, CoolTone is the ideal option.

Dr. Mirtha Gonzalez shares Dr. Humble’s philosophy of patient care.
