Stafford MSD to Host First Annual Students Against Breast Cancer

The Stafford Municipal School District (MSD) is starting a new tradition this year – “Students Against Breast Cancer.”

Join a 5k walk with family and friends on the morning of Saturday, October 13th to draw awareness to breast cancer and to honor breast cancer survivors. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sisters Network Breast Cancer Foundation.

Registration and check-in for the event will begin at 7:30 am at the Stafford Athletic Complex Football Field. There will be an untimed 5k walk/run at 8:30 am, followed by sack races for children, a water balloon toss and a bounce house at 8:45 am.

Stafford MSD will celebrate survivors at 9:30 am, and have a ceremonial balloon release at 10 am, followed by cupcakes at 10:30 am.
