Registration Opens for Sienna Youth Sports Leagues

Fall registration for youth sports leagues operating within Sienna Plantation is now open with play set to begin September 4th. Area youth can register for co-ed flag football and girls’ volleyball teams. Registration is open to non-residents. All participants will receive a uniform, non-trophy participation award and guaranteed playing time.

“Sienna Plantation is committed to providing positive sports options for all kids,” said Alvin San Miguel, general manager for Sienna Plantation. “Both our flag football and volleyball sports leagues allow them to have fun, develop skills and practice good sportsmanship.”

Sienna Plantation Flag Football, sponsored by The Spencer Company and Hoggatt LP, will be divided into three divisions based on grade level. The Junior Division is for children in grades Kindergarten through second. Grades three, four and five will participate in the Intermediate Division. A Senior Division is available for kids in grades six through eight.  All games will be held at the Fort Bend community’s Camp Sienna recreation complex, located at 7725 Camp Sienna Trail. Practices will be divided between Camp Sienna and on-site Baines Middle School, located at 9000 Sienna Ranch Road. Teams will play a six-game regular season. Practice sessions begin on September 4th with games beginning September 15th. An end-of-season, single-elimination tournament is scheduled for October 27th.

The Sienna Spike Girls Volleyball Club also will play a six-game regular season. Two divisions are available. The  Junior Division is for girls in grades four and five. The Senior Division is for grades five and six. Practices and games will be held at Baines Middle School. Practices for the Junior Division begin Monday, September 9th.  Games start on September 22nd, with an end-of-season, single-elimination tournament scheduled for October 31st.  Practices for the Senior Division begin September 10th, with the first game on September 22nd. The tournament is slated for November 3rd.

Registration is open until August 24th, and the cost is $243.75 per player. Space is limited. Parents can register their children online at
