Logos Prep Men’s Chili Cook-Off
Sugar Creek Baptist Church will host the chili cook-off featuring guest speaker Damon West.  West is a motivational speaker and co-author of The Coffee Bean: A Simple Lesson to Create Positive Change. Field Trip in Cullinan Park Conservancy
Meet field trip leader Robbin Mallett for a morning of excellent Spring birding at Cullinan Park, located at 12414 Highway 6 South in Sugar Land. This is on the north side of the Sugar Land Airport. Friday Night Hoops
Spend your Friday night with a friendly competition. Join an after hours 5v5 pick-up basketball game. Games will be played full court with a 10 minute running clock. Participants must be 15 years of age or older. This event is happening at the Rec & Tennis Center in Missouri City and is free for members or $5 for non-members. Volunteer Appreciation Picnic
All Fort Bend Seniors’ amazing volunteers are invited to this picnic for their dedication to seniors in Fort Bend and Waller counties. 10th Annual St. Paddy’s Day  Half Marathon and 5K
Put on your running shoes for the Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Half Marathon or the non-competitive Aunt Jean 5K Walk and Jog, both starting and ending at Sugar Land Town Square. Music Magic Program
Boys who love music and singing are encouraged to take Music Magic, an eight-week music enrichment program for six-and seven-year old boys. The Fort Bend Boys Choir offers this class, which brings music alive through movement, musical games, singing and other activities. The class will meet on Tuesday evenings beginning March 17th until May 5th at the First United Methodist Church, located at 3900 Lexington Boulevard in Missouri City. Learn Job-Search Survival Tips
First Colony Branch Library will present a two-part series of “Job-Search Survival Tips,” in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2121 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land. The two-part series is designed to help all job-hunters, from those applicants applying for a position at a fast-food restaurant to executives looking for a position in a large company. The tips that are presented can help any applicant plan a more efficient job hunt and make a more favorable impression. The sessions are free and open to the public. Join the Azerbaijanian American Cultural Alliance and other central Asian countries in a cultural celebration of the commencement of spring (Nowruz) in the Plaza! 8th Annual Reading Between the Wines
Presented by the Fred & Mabel R. Parks Foundation supporting The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County, Reading Between the Wines, will be at Safari Texas Ranch.  This year’s featured author is Henry Winkler. The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County will recognize Arlene and Len Rolsen as this year’s honorees. International Art and Kite Festival

World Water Day 5K
Join and celebrate World Water Day 2020. The 5K Run/Walk will be a chip-timed race with awards for the top three participants in each age group. The course takes place on neighborhood roads and jogging trails in the City of Meadows Place. Runners with baby strollers are to start near the back of the group to avoid obstructing other runners. Chef Fest
The Fourth Annual Chef Fest event returns to the Harvest Green Village Farm. Ten local chefs will use Village Farm produce to create festival style dishes that celebrate the local territory. Beyond the intentional eats, attendees will be able to enjoy full pours of craft cocktails, local wine and beer, listen to live music and step in the system of a working farm, all while benefiting Village Farm and local nonprofit partners.
