Mamie George Branch Library Holds Autumn-Wreath-Making Demonstration

Celebrate your favorite seasons and holidays by making different wreaths to decorate your doorway and welcome your guests throughout the year. On Wednesday, October 10th, Fort Bend County Libraries’ Mamie George Branch Library will have a demonstration on “Autumn-Wreath Making” from 10 to 11 am, in the Makerspace area of the library, located at 320 Dulles Ave in Stafford.

Learn how easy it is to make a stunning wreath that is weather-proof and sturdy enough to use outdoors, yet delicate and beautiful enough to use indoors as well.

Materials will be provided, but those attending the class may wish to bring their own trinkets with which to personalize their wreath.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Mamie George Branch Library. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library book sales and annual membership dues help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the library.

The program is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Events,” select “Mamie George Branch Library” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2880, or by visiting the library.
