Libraries Present Online Demonstrations for Craft and Hobby Enthusiasts


Fort Bend County Libraries presents a series of online, craft and hobby themed video demonstrations. These demonstration videos can be viewed at www.fortbend.lib.tx.us.

Holiday Book Art – December 12th and 15th: Library staff will demonstrate how to take an old book and make a tree and a snowman by folding the pages.

Photography Basics: Scan-O-Grams –December 15th: Learn how to use a flatbed photo scanner to create artistic images with a holiday theme.

DIY Birdseed Ornaments – December 15th: Library staff will show how to make birdseed ornaments using a few basic materials.

YA: Newspaper Pottery – December 17th: Learn how to transform old newspapers into colorful  pottery bowls and pots.

Flowers with Flair – December 18th: Learn how to create beautiful flowers from wire and then paint them with gleaming nail polish. The flowers become unique works of art that can be used to make jewelry.

Winter Felt Planner Clips – December 22nd: Learn how to make a felt planner clip with a winter theme.

New Year’s Bullet Journaling – December 28th: Discover how bullet journaling can be used to promote mindfulness and productivity. Start the New Year with a creative and positive attitude.
