Join the 2019 Walk To End Alzheimer’s®

The Alzheimer’s Association^® invites Fort Bend residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Fort Bend Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk will take place on Saturday, October 26th at the University of Houston at Sugar Land, located at 14000 University Blvd. in Sugar Land. Registration is at 7:30 am, opening ceremony at 8 am and the Walk begins at 8:30 am.

The Fort Bend Walk averages 1400 participants and covers 3.1 miles. This year’s walk is emceed by Mia Gradney and Len Cannon, KHOU anchors. All funds raised through Walk to End Alzheimer’s further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Over 390,000 people are living with Alzheimer’s in Texas; Texas ranks 4th in the nation in the number of Alzheimer’s cases and 2nd in Alzheimer’s deaths. Join a team or register to walk as an individual at act.alz.org/fortbend.
