Houston Methodist Primary Care Group is pleased to welcome Amina Patel Jinnah, MD, board-certified family medicine physician, to the practice located at 18717 South University Blvd., Suite 105 in Sugar Land. Jinnah joins an experienced team of primary care physicians and will continue to provide the same high-quality health care that the Riverstone community has come to expect.

Jinnah earned her medical degree from the Aga Khan University Medical College before completing her family medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and her clinical genetics residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.  Jinnah specializes in prevention and wellness and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.

Prior to joining Houston Methodist Primary Care Group, Jinnah practiced medicine at another physician-led organization in North Houston, where she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to meet the health care needs of her patients. “I am very excited to be a part of Houston Methodist Primary Care Group and am committed to utilizing my experience and professional expertise to help patients achieve and maintain a consistent, healthy and productive quality of life,” said Jinnah.
