Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun –

Preferred Club honeymoon suite terrace.

TRAVEL by Alisa –

If you are looking for a fantastic couples get away, look no further than Secrets Maroma located in the beautiful and serene waters in Mexico’s Riviera Cancun. I have personally stayed at this resort three times and love it! The resort has won TripAdvisor’s coveted “Traveler’s Choice” award in 2018 dubbing it in the Top 25 All-Inclusive Resorts
Worldwide
. Located just a few hours flight from Intercontinental Airport, travelers can literally have breakfast in Houston and be swimming in the crystal blue waters by sundown making it an appealing and convenient hot spot.

The resort offers accommodations with swim out private dipping pools, as well as private jacuzzis nestled in a sexy hideaway. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a stocked mini bar daily. Maid service is three times daily, and there’s also a beautifully dressed canopy bed and large soaking tub for two in room.

Preferred Club honeymoon suite terrace.

Guests have the option to stay in the Preferred Club Section, which I highly recommend, because it offers an exclusive bar, fruit and hors d’oeuvres around the clock, which can be nice when the afternoon comes and the restaurants that serve daily lunches close to convert themselves for evening fare.  This level also features a private check in and check out to make guests feel extra special. The entire resort has access to 24-hour room services as well.

The activities offered are in abundance for both land and sea dwellers. There’s a winding pool throughout the property and ample loungers at both the pool and beach.  Guests can choose from scuba diving, snorkeling, mini golf, tennis, football, both beach and pool volleyball, Euro-bungee, archery, water polo and aerobics, cocktail classes, dance lessons and deep-sea fishing.  The property also has something that many Mexican properties do not:  catamarans.  There’s also a fitness area fully equipped with the latest machines, and yoga is offered seaside each day. For those wanting an off-resort excursion, all the expected can be arranged through the concierge. From scheduling dinners on the beach to spa visits and extras, such as room cheese plates with champagne daily and bathtub buttering for extra romance.

Couples massage suite.

The property also features a 13,000 square foot world class spa by Pevonia. From seaweed wraps to ocean-inspired facials, guests will find everything there to make them feel pampered and relaxed.

Nightly entertainment is planned, and every show is a great experience. From dancers to comedians to scarfed aerial shows, the staff is professional and accomplished with artists who understand you are there for an experience, and they always deliver!

Swim out suites are located throughout the resort.

The restaurants, aside from a large in room menu, are carefully curated by chefs to offer multiple entrees to suit each and every palate. The Gourmet dining at Secrets Maroma includes six a la carte restaurants, a buffet that features a live musician during breakfast, a grill and a cafe. Bordeaux offers French cuisine, El Patio offers Mexican and Himitsu offers Pan Asian with a chef cooking before guests on an open grill and extensive sushi. Oceans offers fresh seafood, Portofino features Italian cuisine, and there are multiple bars, each with their own unique atmosphere scattered throughout the property.

Secrets Resorts offer multiple locations throughout Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Costa Rica. I have experienced many of them, and their customer service, attention to detail and experience id like no other. It is not surprising that they have earned the honor of being in the Top 25 Luxury All-Inclusive Resorts Worldwide.
