Celebrate – and support – children and adults with Down syndrome by participating in the “i have a Voice” gala scheduled for Saturday, October 19th from 6 to 11 pm at the George Ranch Historical Park Arena.
Featuring a gourmet dinner by Café Natalie, an open bar, live music and dancing, this year’s event is presented by Hudson Building Systems, Wes and Amanda Hudson. Additional highlights of the evening include a raffle, wine and whiskey pulls, a silent auction, a boot shine station and a live auction. Some live auction packages include seven nights for 12 in a private home in Montana, a luxurious Canadian adventure package for eight, a BBQ Party for 50, a fully guided Duck, Duck, Goose Hunt for three, a custom-made playhouse and one year of tuition from the Gingerbread Kids Academy.

Best of all, participants from GiGi’s will be on hand to greet and personally thank guests. GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land is an established network of unique Down Syndrome Achievement Centers specifically serving children, adults and families. GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land’s programs are always accessible to these individuals at no charge. “We are fortunate that families are never burdened by program costs at GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land,” said Noell Myska, gala co-chair and board member. “With fundraising events like our annual gala and community support, we are able to provide a comprehensive set of progressive programs and positive support specifically for individuals with Down syndrome all in a dedicated place at no cost to families.”
