Fort Bend Education Foundation awards $771,448 to Fort Bend ISD!

During its annual Grants Awards Ceremony, held May 14 at Kempner High School, the Fort Bend Education Foundation presented Fort Bend ISD with a check for $771,448! For the past 32 years, the Education Foundation has awarded grants to the school district to support teachers and schools, which ultimately benefits FBISD students.

This year’s award amount includes:

  • $520,848 to fund 269 teacher and school grants
  • $43,800 for 300 new Teacher Gifts
  • $96,200 for Professional Development, and
  • $110,600 in Pass-Through Grants

Since its inception in 1992, the Education Foundation has awarded more than $36 million in grants to FBISD teachers and schools.
