Fort Bend Christian Academy to Host Fine Arts Festival

Fort Bend Christian Academy (FBCA) invites the community of Sugar Land and Houston artists to its first Fine Arts Festival from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 28th at the Art Pavilion, located at Fort Bend Christian Academy at 1250 Seventh Street in Sugar Land.

The festival is free and open to the public and will have something for everyone. Features include crafts, face painting, AP student art, chalk art, ceramics/wheel throwing, music and food trucks.

In addition to the festival, attendees are encouraged to attend the 2 pm matinee of the upper school musical Into the Woods. The show will be performed on campus, and tickets will be available on the school’s website and at the door. The cast will be dressed in costume and available for photos throughout the event.

Local artist and FBCA alumnus Michael Leanes will showcase his handcrafted contemporary furniture at the festival. Contact Robert Sanders at rsanders@fortbendchristian.org if you would like to participate or get more information about the event.
