First Congregate to Reopen June 7th

After more than a year of serving our Congregate participants in their homes, we are thrilled to announce the first of our centers will reopen Monday, June 7th!  The Bud O’Shieles Community Center, located at 1330 Band Road in Rosenberg, will welcome seniors back with activities, including bingo, art and fitness classes, as well as a hot meal. Most importantly, the center will provide socialization that has been sorely missed as the pandemic stretched on.

As we take this first step towards fully reopening all of our centers, we will continue to follow all health guidelines and recommendations to ensure the continued safety of our seniors, volunteers, and staff members. This includes regularly sanitizing hard surfaces, encouraging participants wear masks, and providing additional space for social distancing. This reopening would not have been possible without your support over the past year, and the many in our community who have volunteered their time or gifts to support our seniors. So, from all of us, thank you – for helping us welcome our family back home.
