As a Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) certified, disease specific in-patient rehabilitation hospital with medical management specializing in the care of Strokes, Amputations, Wound Care and Hip Fractures and other illnesses, Encompass Health provides three hours of therapy five days a week broken up into several sessions throughout each day.  Anyone age 18 or older with an illness or injury will receive daily physician visits, care by certified rehab nurses and therapy sessions with specialized speech, occupational and physical therapists.

With the 2015 acquisition of Encompass Health Home Health & Hospice, formerly HealthSouth, Encompass Health remains committed in the community and is excited to celebrate this positive direction for the community.  Leadership wants people to know that the ownership and management of the company remains the same.  Encompass Health will not alter the excellence in care.
