Wang, a junior at Dulles, received a scholarship to attend an accredited aviation university participating in a private pilot license training program for the summer of 2021. He is one of only 230 cadets from around the world to receive the award, out of the more than 1,300 applications submitted. The scholarship, valued at approximately $22,500, will cover transportation, accommodations, flight hours and instruction as he works toward a private pilot license.

Choudhury, a senior, was selected for an Air Force ROTC Scholarship, a class 7 scholarship that will cover full tuition and fees at any public university, or up to $18,000 each year at a private university.

The Dulles High School Air Force JROTC is led by Major Doug Hawn and Master Sergeant Patrick Hardy.
