Accesshealth Heart of Fort Bend Honors Community Pillars on October 19th

The 2017 Heart of Fort Bend planning committee would like to acknowledge YOU as the “Heart of Fort Bend.” Led by Co-Chairs Holly Kaminga and Beth Wolf, the committee has been working for months planning the annual gala. In light of the tragic events of the past month, we want the community to know our hearts are with you and AccessHealth services are available.

“The Fort Bend community has stepped up in such an amazing way these last few weeks to care for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey,” said Kaminga. “We realize this community IS the Heart of Fort Bend. We’re moving forward with this event because it’s about what the community needs, and this community needs access to affordable healthcare now more than ever.”

“We’re excited to honor Bob and Carole Brown on October 19th at Safari Texas Ranch,” said Wolf.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, AccessHealth has been providing free tetanus shots and fast-tracking registration for new patients to expedite care for as many people who needed it. While working together with Fort Bend County’s collective group of non-profits to provide recovery support in this time of need, AccessHealth will continue caring for increased numbers of patients within its four clinics, as well as throughout the county with its mobile medical unit.

The 2017 Heart of Fort Bend will be held on Thursday, October 19th, from 6 to 9 pm at Safari Texas Ranch.
