This resort is located on the beautiful white sands of Maxwell Beach. It’s an easy reach as many other locations in the Caribbean require a lengthy transfer; the Royal is only 15 minutes from the airport. This 272 all-suite resort is the latest jewel in the Sandals crown featuring stunning ocean views, Butler Elite service and exclusive exchange privileges with the nearby Sandals Barbados. At the Butler level, guests are whisked away with private Rolls Royce transfers and taken to the preferred VIP Sandals Lobby where guests will receive a chilled towel and champagne upon arrival.
There are 17 room categories. At the Butler Elite level, unpacking service, 24-hour room service, drawn baths and curtained outdoor soaking pool all overlooking the crystal waters of the sea are just some of the amenities.

Sandals Royal in Barbados’ accommodations range in service levels, and the Love Nest category, located in the Stargazer Building, offers the ultimate in luxury and indulgence. The Prime Minister one-bedroom Butler Suite offers a king bed, private plunge pool, living room with dining table, desk, sofa and television. Guests will also enjoy a butler pantry and fully stocked bar with premium spirits. Adjacent to the private living space is a patio featuring a private pool and ocean views.
Activities are plentiful and allow guests to do as much or absolutely nothing based on their desired interactions and need for experiences while on vacation. By the sea, guests can explore 31 fresh water pools, three whirlpools and a scuba dive pool. Kayaking, PADI scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boards, Hobie Cats and boogie boards are all available as is a glass bottom boat.

For land lovers, the resort features volleyball, bocce ball, cricket, ten pin bowling, board games, table tennis and tennis courts. This resort also offers Lovers’ Lane Bowling Alley.
The evening entertainment is well-planned, and the memories made through the experiences will last a lifetime. Mondays offer a Caribbean Carnival Beach Party, and Tuesdays there’s a Reggae Fest. Wednesdays feature Encore, Thursdays bring a White Night with chocolate buffet and Fridays kick off the weekend with Island Night. Saturdays bring Caribbean Night and Sundays are Barbados Day. There’s also a piano sing-a-long bar and an X-Box gaming center.
The spa and fitness opportunities abound at Sandals Royal Barbados. The fitness center offers daily activities set to fun music, and the equipment is offered 24/7 in a fully air-conditioned center.
