The Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) is excited to announce that applications are now open for local qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations to be considered as a Core Placement, Event Placement, or Difference in a Day for the 2025-2027 League years. These opportunities are designed to support nonprofits whose missions align with FBJSL’s dedication to serving the Fort Bend County community through volunteerism and charitable fundraising.
Organizations selected as a Core Placement will benefit from year-round volunteer support provided by FBJSL’s dedicated members, fostering long-term collaboration and impactful service. Event Placements offer focused assistance with specific events or initiatives, ensuring success and increased community engagement. Difference in a Day is a once-a-year event or project where a large group of FBJSL members dedicate an entire day to volunteering with a local charitable organization to make a significant and immediate impact, truly making a “difference in a day.”
This application process occurs every two years and provides a valuable opportunity for nonprofits to partner with FBJSL in making a meaningful difference in Fort Bend County. Applications and position statements can be found at fbjsl.org and must be submitted by February 15, 2025.
