With an extensive background in Marketing and New Business Development, long-time Fort Bend County resident Stacy Bynes joins the Fort Bend Chamber as the Director of Membership Services. Bynes is a Graduate of the Dan Rather School of Communications at Sam Houston State University and has had a successful career at KHOU-TV creating and managing television campaigns and paid content for Great Day Houston. She has also served as the regional media representative for Southern Living Magazine and Director of Marketing for TIRR Foundation. Bynes has served on the Fort Bend Chamber Board of Directors and is a graduate of the Fort Bend Leadership Forum Class of 2012 and the Leadership Excellence for Non-Profits Class of 2013.
As Director of Membership Services, Bynes will be implementing the Fort Bend Chamber’s recruitment and retention strategy. “Stacy brings a great deal of marketing and sales experience and with her strong community network, she will be a formidable addition to the existing professional team.” says Keri Schmidt, President and CEO.
Bynes is a devoted member of the community spending time as a PTA President, Booster Club President, Girl Scout Co-Leader and volunteering for local organizations including The Sugar Land Heritage Foundation, Grant A Starr Family Fun Run. She currently serves as board president for the Fort Bend Education Foundation. Married for over 20 years to Spencer Bynes, they have two daughters.
