A Fort Bend tradition now in its 12th year, the Riverstone Holiday Market returns 5 to 9 pm on Friday, November 18th at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard. Nearly four dozen vendors will be onsite showcasing an array of gift and holiday items, including candles, wreaths, clothing, toys, jewelry and more.
Several participants will also be offering a variety of food items, from chocolate to olive oil to jams. “There will be so many interesting and unique things to browse — you’re sure to check off at least a few people on your holiday gift list,” said Solomon Delaney, Director of Fun for Riverstone. “The holiday market is always so festive with the clubhouse lavishly decorated that this always feels like it’s the start of the holiday season here in the community.” Among the participating vendors are B&B Popcorn & Treats, Indigo Rose, Liz Silk Creations, Modchic Couture, Texas Mom Tumblers, 4 Paws Gourmet Dog Treats, The Wearhouse, Vintage Souled, WS at Home and YCK Gifts & Toys.
Admission is one or more canned goods that will be donated to Second Mile Mission Center. The donation entitles attendees to light hors d’oeuvres, three signature cocktails and a custom shopping bag while supplies last. Second Mile Mission Center has been serving Fort Bend families in need since 1990. More than 85,000 people received groceries last year through the charity’s Park & Pick Up program, 980 through the mobile pantry and 449 through home deliveries. More than 51,000 people received fresh produce via neighborhood food fairs. Riverstone began collecting food for Second Mile Mission at its 2015 holiday market, and since then, has donated approximately 4,800 pounds of food to the organization.
