The Fort Bend Boys Choir concludes their 44th concert season with a Spring Concert on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 7:00 pm. The concert will be at the First United Methodist Church-Missouri City, located at 3900 Lexington Blvd., Missouri City, TX 77459. Three ensembles – Town-Training Choir, Tour Choir and Music Magic (the music enrichment class of six and seven-year old boys) – will be showcased as they celebrate “Our Singing Boys – Making Every Note Count!” the 44th concert seasons’ theme.

Singing in a boy choir is not only a time-honored ancient tradition, it is also one of the most effective ways to develop life skills in young boys. And did you know there is an expiration date on a young boy’s singing voice? It’s true! Boys have a short amount of time to take advantage of their high, lovely singing voice before puberty hits. So, if you know of a boy at least eight years of age or going into the third grade (with an unchanged voice) for the new 2026-2027 school year, encourage him to audition for the Fort Bend Boys Choir now!

Choristers all over Fort Bend, including Sugar Land, Stafford, Missouri City, Katy, Fulshear, Richmond and Rosenberg, learn many life lessons including responsibility, leadership, etiquette, citizenship, confidence and so much more. Auditions and other choir activities are held at the First United Methodist Church-Missouri City, 3900 Lexington Blvd., Missouri City, TX 77459. Scholarships and payment plans are available in addition to carpool assistance. There is also a Music Magic enrichment program for six and seven-year-old boys!
