Local children’s book author Chelsea Erickson devotes her talents to the adventures of a little girl named Poppy. Through these stories, she hopes to bring joy and fun to her readers. This series follows Poppy as she goes on lighthearted adventures with her family and friends, inspired by experiences in author Erickson’s childhood.
As Erickson steadily grows her family with her husband Sam, she is also consistently growing her business as an author and blogger. Erickson has worked hard to overcome dyslexia since childhood, and she is now dedicated to bringing awareness about learning disabilities and overcoming labels as she shares Poppy’s journey with her readers.
A Party for Poppy, and her newest story, A Garden for Poppy, coming in September, are sure to be fun for the whole family! Erickson’s sister-in-law, Kiren Garcia, is the illustrator behind the simple and beautiful pictures in the series, and together, they create exciting experiences for the young, and bring back those sweet childhood memories for the not-so-young but still young-at-heart!
A Party for Poppy and A Garden for Poppy can be found on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and her website TheUntidyTribe.com.
