What’s the best way to kick off the fall season?  With a party at The George Ranch, of course!

As part of their year-long 200^th Anniversary Celebration, join cowboys, cattle and critters alike for “The Great Pumpkin Round Up Cocktail Kick Off” Thursday, October 10^th!  This adult only event from 5:30 to 7:30 pm features an exclusive tour of the new site of “The Great Pumpkin Round Up” adjacent to the recently opened state-of-the-art Visitor Center at the Ranch.  Guests will enjoy a sneak peek of the pumpkin extravaganza before it opens to the public, along with live music, a fall-themed menu, pumpkin games hosted by The George Ranch cowboys and a signature drink created with the 200th Anniversary Limited Edition George Ranch Bourbon.

“The Great Pumpkin Round Up” is a fall favorite for Fort Bend showcasing an extraordinary display of pumpkins, gourds, squash and fall floral and fauna created by local designer Lucas Chavez.  With a venue change for the annual event, the new location at The George Ranch features artifacts woven into the autumn display creating perfect backdrops for selfies or family photos all along El Arroyo Seco.

“The new location for this year’s ‘Great Pumpkin Round Up’ is one of the most picturesque vistas on The George Ranch,” said The George Ranch Executive Director Adrienne Barker.  “Guests will enjoy the new site surrounded by vintage oak trees by the creek, along with our new Visitor Center.  It’s the perfect way to spend a fall Saturday with the family.”
