Fort Bend ISD Hosts Two Free Community Events at Wheeler Fieldhouse Thursday, May 15

Fort Bend ISD will hold two free community events at Wheeler Fieldhouse, located at16403 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77479, this Thursday, May 15, from 6 – 8 p.m.

FBISD’s Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Showcase will be held inside the fieldhouse and feature interactive displays and presentations from:

• District coding and robotics competition winners will showcase their projects from the year
• Campus Coding and Robotics Clubs
• STEM community organizations
• Make and take activities

At the same time, a student-led wellness “tailgate” event will take place in the parking lot of Wheeler Fieldhouse between the district’s administration building and the home side of the football field.

The event will feature games, physical activity challenges and a smoothie bike, and showcase community partners and district departments that provide services to support physical, mental and social health.

The Student Wellness Coalition is run by students to promote health and wellness on each of the district’s high school campuses.
