Dust off those boots and pull out your fanciest hats as you “get ready to derby” at Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship’s 11th annual Derby Day Party. This fabulous yearly fundraising event is bringing the Kentucky Derby to Fort Bend County with a live showing of the 151st Kentucky Derby Race.

The event, sponsored by the Run for the Roses Presenting Sponsor, Houston Methodist Hospital, will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land. All the fun begins at 3:30 pm.

Guests will enjoy a seated dinner with an open bar as well as Mint Juleps and they can participate in the ladies’ hat and men’s boot contests, live and silent auctions, and much more. Each guest will also choose their horse to cheer on during the live race and if the horse wins, the guest is entered in a drawing for a prize!
