I hope this message finds all of our Fort Bend friends and porch sitters well. Moreover, I’m praying that we all still have porches to sit on! Now the real work begins.  The County has shared this guide for cleaning up storm debris, which has become Fort Bend’s official summer past time for a minute, along with a listing of shelters and cooling centers.  For a complete list, visit:

Fort Bend County Commissioner Vincent Morales, Precinct 1, has confirmed that our county has been declared a disaster area with federal help available, and details for FEMA assistance will be forthcoming.
