Hope For Three Autism Advocates invites the community to tee up for a cause at the 10th Annual Golf Fore Autism Charity Tournament, presented by Landmark Charities, on Monday, October 6, at the prestigious Sweetwater Country Club.
This milestone event hosts golfers across both the Pecan and Cypress courses, doubling the impact while raising critical funds for autistic children, loved ones, and families. Join sponsors like OCuSOFT, AmRisc Group, and many others, as well as volunteers and participants, to enjoy a full day of golf, networking, and exciting activities, including raffles, creative contests, live and silent auctions, and the always-popular wine and whiskey pulls. A $3,000 gift card giveaway adds extra excitement to the day.
Camaraderie and fun begin with a hearty breakfast sponsored by First Watch Café at 8:00 AM, then roll into a free putting contest at 9:00 AM to warm up for the day. A shotgun start begins at 10:00 AM, accompanied by lunch, food on the course, and a lively awards reception after tournament play.
In Fort Bend County public schools, over 9,600 autistic children were enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic school year, making the mission of Hope For Three more urgent than ever. Funds raised will provide financial aid, vital resources, caregiver support, and help to local families, offering them hope. This year’s Honorary Chairs, the Diaz Family, symbolize the power of resilience and support, sharing their journey as their son, once denied services, heads to college with honors.
Teams, sponsors, community partners, and volunteers are urgently needed to ensure the tournament’s success. Can’t play? Monetary donations, wine, or whiskey (valued at $ 40 or more) are also welcome to support the cause.
To find autism resources, register your team ($800) or individual play ($200), volunteer, or donate now, visit www.hopeforthree.org/events. The Diaz family reminds us that with community support, challenges become stepping stones. Your participation ensures more families have the chance to celebrate victories big and small.
