Best in the West Returns to the George Ranch for its 48th Year

It’s time to shine your boots and polish your buckles! One of Fort Bend County’s longest-running fundraising events is back offering an unforgettable evening of fun, entertainment and community support.

Presented by Prosperity Bank, The Arc of Fort Bend County will host its 48th Annual Best in the West Dinner and Dance on Saturday, November 21 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the George Ranch Arena, located at 10215 FM 762 Road in Richmond. Known by attendees as the county’s premier fundraising event, Best in the West supports The Arc’s mission of creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and empowering them to live full, meaningful lives and actively participate in our community.

Guests can look forward to a true Texas night out with something for everyone. The night begins with a barbecue dinner, followed by warm cookies generously provided by Tiff’s Treats Stafford. Bid on an irresistible selection of sweet treats at the popular Dessert Corral which can be shared on the spot or taken home. Cooper Wade & Unclaimed Freight will keep the dance floor lively throughout the evening, and guests can capture plenty of memories with family and friends at the photo booth.

Shoppers can get a head start on their holiday gift buying at one of Fort Bend County’s largest silent auctions, featuring hundreds of unique items and experiences up for bid. The excitement continues with auctioneer James Patterson who will keep the energy high as he auctions off incredible packages, including a three-night Fredericksburg getaway, a week-long Costa Rican vacation, a luxury stay at a Lake Las Vegas condominium and so much more.

Other standout attractions include a cash bar, a popular Wine Pull featuring bottles valued at nearly $100 and a Bid Board with must-have items. Feeling lucky? Guests can purchase raffle tickets for just $50 each for a chance to win a brand-new, beauty in blue, four-passenger VCart cruiser.
