Susan Jones, Vickie Coates, Stacey Williams and Linda Day.

The 9th Annual Fort Bend Empty Bowls is set for Friday, April 6th from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at Safari Texas Ranch.  Fort Bend Empty Bowls is the single largest fundraising event benefiting East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry (EFBHNM).  Guests are served a simple meal of soup and bread as a reminder of families in Fort Bend County who do not have enough food to eat.  Although the meal may be “simple,” the soup will be delicious!  Twelve local restaurants will be providing tasty soups.

A featured part of Fort Bend Empty Bowls are the painted bowls, which have been donated by local artist Albert Goldreich.  These bowls will be available for purchase to raise funds to help families in need in our community.

The evening will include with live entertainment from the Harbor Light Choir.  There will also be a silent and live auction along with a wine and whiskey pull sure to have something for everyone.

Whole Foods Market of Sugar Land is serving as Presenting Sponsor once again.  Whole Foods Market has been a community partner with the organization since they opened their Sugar Land store.  They continue to donate to EFBHNM throughout the year and support us through their 5% Community Giving Day.

Tickets for Fort Bend Empty Bowls are only $40 per person.  Tickets can be purchased at East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry and online at humanneeds.org.  For more information about Fort Bend Empty Bowls, contact Stacey@humanneeds.org or call 281-261-1006. Please help us fill empty bowls throughout our community!
