On Saturday December 5th, GiGi’s Playhouse will open its 27th location at 14015 Southwest Freeway, Suite 11 in Sugar Land. The Grand Opening will take place from noon to 4 pm, complete with tours of the playhouse, music, bounce houses and games.

GiGi’s Playhouse is a Down Syndrome Achievement Center that focuses on achievement, belief and confidence through free therapeutic and educational programs for children, adults and their families. The Sugar Land Playhouse will offer more than 30 different programs, each focusing on an aspect of skill development. GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land and local volunteers will further the mission of bringing positive and accurate information about Down syndrome, and the community has an open invitation to check out what GiGi’s Playhouse is all about.

“Our program participants continue to change the way people view Down syndrome through their amazing self-confidence and skills,” said GiGi’s Playhouse Founder and President Nancy Gianni. “Attending the Grand Opening will be a wonderful and important opportunity to support our individuals and families and also a great opportunity to learn more about the work we do. Helping children and young adults at GiGi’s Playhouse extends beyond the Down syndrome diagnosis. If you believe in a kinder and more accepting world and believe in helping others, then GiGi’s Playhouse is the place for you.”
