STARS proudly announces the 9th Annual Girlfriends Giggle benefiting the Fort Bend County Women’s Center on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm in the “Diva Den” at Fluor of Sugar Land, One Fluor Daniel Drive in Sugar Land. STARS supports the Fort Bend County Women’s Center’s fundraising and direct service efforts through special events and by assisting with agency projects.

Giggle is the ultimate “Girls’ Night Out” for hundreds of ladies each year. Billed as a Grown Up Girl Pajama Party, the event celebrates female friendships. The evening includes a live DJ, dancing, pajama party, top local restaurant fare, a martini bar, live and silent auctions, boutique shopping, dance lessons and personal indulgences such as manicures, massages and hair styling.

Girlfriends Giggle is proud to announce Memorial Hermann Sugar Land as the 2014 Title Sponsor. The hospital is a 79-private bed, full-service, acute care facility that brings together the ultimate in healthcare technology.

The Fort Bend County Women’s Center is a non-profit United Way Agency whose mission is to assist survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children to achieve safety and self-sufficiency. Since its inception over 30 years ago, the Women’s Center has provided over 35,000 women and children with a safe harbor and led them toward a violence-free future.

Last year’s Giggle raised $125,000 for the Women’s Center. All proceeds assist clients by providing free and confidential emergency shelter, counseling, crisis intervention and other supportive services provided by the Women’s Center.
