Join the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County for their second annual Reading Between the Wines event presented by Classic Chevrolet Sugar Land and Safari Texas. Celebrate your love of literacy with books, wine, authors, food, auctions and more on Friday, February 7th at Safari Texas.

The evening begins with guests enjoying a glass of wine while listening to featured authors speak about their latest releases. The New York Times Best Selling authors joining this year are Linda Castillo and Paulette Jiles. Guest authors include Nathan Barber, Julia Heaberlin, Kathy Duval and Betty Verdino. From there, guests will have the opportunity to purchase books from Blue Willow Book Shop, visit with the authors and have their books autographed.

Guests will then be invited to sample food and wine from several local restaurants while listening to live music from local musicians. Restaurants such as Currant Kitchen, Fadi’s, Blu, The Curry Cup, Russo’s Coal-Fired Italian Kitchen, Safari Texas Ranch and The Swinging Door will serve tasty delicacies. A live auction, big board and dessert dash are also included in this memorable evening’s events.

Sponsorship opportunities are currently available and range from $500 to $5,000. Sponsor benefits include admission to a pre-event reception with the authors, reserved premier seating, complimentary program advertisement and more. Individual tickets are on sale for $100.
