Hello Fort Bend Friends,
Oh, the holidays! The most important thing to me is my family. But with so much going on - the kids being off from school, meals needing to be planned and gifts needing to be bought and wrapped - we get so caught up in the moment that I just want to remind everyone how special it is to just be together. The greatest gift we can give our family is our time. So, Fort Bend Focus has once again published our annual "12 Days of Christmas" happenings around Fort Bend that you can do with your family.
The holidays are also a time of giving where we are reminded to always be thankful for what we have and help those less fortunate. Mike Flory is such a great example of one such man who has always been there in times of need, whether to brighten someone's day or volunteer endless hours for a charity. As you can read on page 14, his giving heart is featured in our cover story.
As we all celebrate in our own special ways this holiday season, my family and I will thank God for the most precious gift of all, His son Jesus Christ.
