Juliette Bloomer, Director of Programs at the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, recently graduated from the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence Conference, held March 1st through 4th. “We are extremely proud to have Juliette on our team, and the knowledge she has gained from this achievement will further our mission as the advocate for business excellence in Fort Bend County,” said Keri Schmidt, President and CEO.
Bloomer completed two years of prerequisites in Fundamentals of Chamber Management I and II from the Center and has just completed her third year in Advanced Studies, qualifying her for graduation. The Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence provides a broad spectrum of advanced education for the chamber professional dealing with topics ranging from chamber management, legal issues and business operations to membership development, revenue retention strategies, government relations and social media.
The Center’s annual conference is a three year, three day training session providing participants with an opportunity to update management and staff skills by studying with professional peers as they review the latest techniques and trends in the industry. Participants are able to build relationships with other chamber professionals from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.
