Child Advocates of Fort Bend Board Members, homeowners, committee and sponsors are gearing up for the 2014 CASA Christmas Home Tour: Greg Haralson, Mark Magee, Brigit Engleman, Denny Adelung, Jim McClellan, Cynthia Barratt, Pat Somers and Vickie Looney.

Discounted pre-sale tickets to the Child Advocates of Fort Bend 23rd Annual CASA Christmas Home Tour are now available at www.cafb.org and at select Fort Bend County Kroger and Randalls stores. Tickets are $20 pre-sale and $25 from December 1st through 14th. There is no better way to get into the holiday spirit than attending the Tour, which has become a Fort Bend holiday tradition.

The 2014 Tour will feature five distinctive homes in Waters of Avalon, Riverstone and Sienna Plantation beautifully decorated for the holidays with the help of professional decorators and designers. Tour guests will be treated to a rare glimpse of these lovely homes and will enjoy festive entertainment, beautiful holiday decorations, tasty homemade cookies and refreshments. The event runs Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th from 10 am until 4 pm with a special candlelight tour on Friday night from 6 pm to 9 pm. One ticket provides admission to all five homes and can be used at any time during the tour. The map to the homes is on the back of the ticket.

“We try to do something new every year, and we are really excited to announce this year’s wreath raffle as we think it will be a fantastic addition to the Tour,” stated Lisa Moore, Events Specialist for Child Advocates of Fort Bend (CAFB). Each talented Christmas decorator has generously created a beautiful wreath, which will be placed in the home that they decorated. Guests can purchase raffle tickets at the homes for a chance to win the wreaths.

The Tour Underwriter is Fred and Mabel R. Parks Foundation. National Oilwell Varco has joined as an Archangel presenting sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities from $100 to $10,000 are still available. All $350+ level sponsors are invited to the special home tour Preview Party the weekend before the tour. The Preview Party will be held in one of the homes on the tour and will be catered by Sweetwater Country Club and Japaneiro’s Sushi Bistro & Latin Grill.

The Christmas Home Tour is one of Child Advocates of Fort Bend’s largest fundraisers. There is no easier way to help abused and neglected children than by purchasing a home tour ticket. Tickets make great gifts for family, friends and co-workers.
