Girls Only: The Secret Comedy of Women

Have you heard about it yet? Mental Health America of Fort Bend County (MHAFBC) has an annual “de-stress” event after the holidays. This year, Mental Health America of Fort Bend County has partnered with the production company “Girls Only: The Secret Comedy of Women” by Barbara Gehring and Linda Klein.

Held at the cozy Main Street Theatre on 4617 Montrose Boulevard in Houston, the event will take place on Sunday, January 27th at 3 pm. Asma Rahim, Board Member of MHAFBC and event chair, along with Evelyn Traylor, an Advisory Board Member of MHAFBC and event co-chair, have worked tirelessly to bring you this whimsical and nostalgic play. Attendees will receive goodie bags, libations and small bites of perfections. MHAFBC extends gratitude to the volunteers, board members, new Executive Director, Jeanne Wallace, and the wonderful sponsors who make this event possible.

Thanks to generous sponsors, including Fort Bend Focus Magazine, one hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Mental Health America of Fort Bend County, a non-profit organization that helps connect the community with resources and the vision “People who care, give hope and offer help.”

Houston Press says of the comedy, “…hilarious…you have to see it to appreciate it, and I recommend that you do.” Let the stress-reducing, comedic sensation fundraiser begin. If you have already seen this hilarious play, you are encouraged to come again.
