A decade of irresistible food finds wines, celebrity chefs, mixology and unabashed merriment, and one of Texas’s largest food celebrations is marking a milestone. Light the candles for the 10th anniversary of the Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair.

Attracting more than 7,000 fanatic foodies annually, the Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair is recognized as one of the most anticipated culinary attractions of the year. Located in Sugar Land, its multiple tastings, dinners, cooking demonstrations and seminars have achieved a reputation as a rollicking good time where top chefs share secrets, sommeliers get uncorked and patrons have exclusive access to the best wine and food around.

The Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair has its roots firmly planted in culinary history. Even its location in Sugar Land is a reverent nod to the fertile soil that produced the sugar and has been home to Imperial Sugar since 1843. Saturday’s Sip & Stroll, the most attended event, takes place on the grounds of the former Imperial Sugar factory and Char House, both of which are iconic images that dominated the landscape for generations and spoke to the prosperity and entrepreneurial spirit of the region.

Five days of notable events have given this wine and food festival a reputation for  sharing an insider’s  guide to chefs’ kitchens, coveted wines, down-the-hatch – bar-the-doors cocktails and food whisperers that have you coming back for more.
