Bring-A-Blanket Sunday Benefiting Jurassic Bark Mission Outreach Hungry and Homeless Project

300-blanketThe Sienna Plantation Churches are sponsoring a “Bring-A-Blanket Sunday” on January 10th and invite the community to participate by donating a new or gently-used blanket to be distributed to the homeless.

Blankets can be dropped off at the following participating churches:

St. Catherine of Sienna Episcopal Church – 4747 Sienna Parkway

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – 3907 Oakwick Forest Drive

Houston’s First Baptist Church – 4309 Sienna Parkway

Sugar Creek Baptist – Ridge Point High School

The Harvest United Methodist Church – 9029 Sienna Ranch Road

St. Angela Merici Catholic Church – 9009 Sienna Ranch Road

Sienna Family Fellowship – Baines Middle School

Donations will be sent to the Jurassic Bark Mission Outreach Hungry and Homeless Project. These blankets will keep homeless men and women warm who must sleep outside with their pets since the shelters of Houston do not accept animals.
