The 2015 GMC Yukon Denali is an all-new version of GM’s near-luxury full-size SUV. This new Yukon has a more powerful engine that gets better fuel economy than last year’s model, as well as all of the technology bells and whistles that you would expect. It’s a vehicle that Texans have been thirsting for, and it’s set the bar much higher than the competition. If you need to haul the entire soccer team to the game or all of the grandkids to Splashtown, this new Yukon is for you.

Back in 2008, when gas prices reached $4 a gallon, full-size SUV owners started bailing out of their behemoths, and automakers started making plans to remove them from their lineup. The panic subsided when gas prices eventually floated downward; however, in the meantime, most full-size SUVs remained stuck in time. General Motors has beaten all of their competitors to the punch by bringing out 2015 full-size true body-on-frame SUVs based on their all-new pickup platform. The GMC Yukon offers more luxury than its Chevy cousin, the Tahoe, without the hefty price tag of its cousin, the Cadillac Escalade.

The 2015 GMC Yukon Denali interior comes standard with premium, leather seats and gorgeous Java Burl poplar genuine wood inlays. Access to the third row is a breeze thanks to the second-row power-fold and tumble bucket seats. And now, the third-row seats fold flat thanks to the push of a button. The premium Bose comes standard, and if you want to keep the back row passengers quiet, opt for the Blu-Ray entertainment system with a nine-inch LED screen.

Power for the new Yukon Denali comes from the largest of GM’s all-new EcoTec3 lineup of engines, the 420 hp, 6.2 liter V-8. It’s a monster of an engine. But due to technology that deactivates cylinders based on demand, the engine still gets respectable fuel economy with 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway in 2WD configuration and 14 city/21 highway with 4WD. The suspension is controlled by the Magnetic Ride Control System that makes constant adjustments to smooth out the road ahead.

If you need that Texas-sized luxury SUV that can get you just about anywhere, the new GMC Yukon Denali is a must see. It has set the latest standard for quiet elegance that will get you noticed by the sophisticated eye.
